More on Paris
We have been here a few days now and it's a good thing since there is sooo much to see and do, although there are a few complaints about sore feet from all the walking! What looks like a short walk on a map turns into a major hike! Most of the group ventured out of Paris city yesterday to see the palace of Versailles. The palace itself was so packed with tour groups it was a bit of a squeeze, but the gardens were spectacular. Today is our last day in Paris and we have some group activities planned this evening after the business visit at Brinks security. The business visit with John Hall at Mercer consulting yesterday went very well and the students had some good comments and questions. As they returned to the hotel after the visit, one of the students commented that they were ready to move to Paris! I think most of the students are starting to realize that they need to do some laundry which has turned out to be harder than we thought finding a self-serve laundry close by. The bathtub might be the only option for now! The weather has been awesome and we realized that there are very few bugs or flies, and no mosquitos here. Interesting.
